About The GLP List
We don't tell you whether you should take a GLP-1. We help you understand your options.
The GLP List is an independent consumer information site. We started it because so much of what's written about these medications falls into one of two camps: sterile clinical language written for other clinicians, or marketing copy written to sell something. We wanted a third option — something closer to a good consumer magazine, written for people trying to make sense of a genuinely complicated topic.
What we are — and aren't
- We are an independent consumer information site.
- We do not prescribe medication, and we never will.
- We do not replace a healthcare professional — nothing here is individualized medical advice.
- We do not accept payment in exchange for favorable coverage of any medication or company.
How we handle medical content
Medical and clinical content on this site has not yet been reviewed by a qualified healthcare professional, and we say so plainly rather than presenting it as authoritative. Treat it as general education, not individualized medical advice — confirm anything specific to your own health, medications, or symptoms with a doctor or pharmacist before acting on it.
Commercial relationships
Commercial relationships — including any future advertising, sponsorships, or affiliate partnerships — should never determine our editorial conclusions. Where they exist, they'll be disclosed clearly, on the page where they appear, not buried in fine print. See our advertising disclosure for specifics.
Where our information comes from
We prioritize primary sources — FDA drug information, official prescribing information, and peer-reviewed research — over secondary summaries or press coverage. Read more in our editorial standards.
