These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of theglplist.com (the "Site"), operated by Benthos Holdings Inc ("Benthos Holdings," "The GLP List," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
What the Site is
The GLP List is an independent, editorial information site about GLP-1 medications — covering topics like cost, insurance, side effects, and everyday life. We do not prescribe, dispense, or recommend specific medications for you individually.
Not medical advice
Nothing on the Site is, or should be treated as, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and using the Site does not create a doctor-patient relationship between you and The GLP List or anyone associated with it. Content is written for general educational purposes and has not necessarily been reviewed by a licensed medical professional — see the disclaimer on individual articles for specifics. Always seek the advice of a qualified physician or pharmacist with questions about a medical condition or medication, and never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something you read here. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
Eligibility
The Site is intended for use by adults. By using the Site, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are accessing it with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.
Acceptable use
When using the Site, you agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that violates these Terms.
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract content from the Site using automated means, except as permitted by our robots.txt.
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its underlying systems.
- Misrepresent your affiliation with The GLP List, or use the Site to impersonate any person or entity.
- Reproduce, republish, or redistribute Site content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
Intellectual property
The Site's text, design, graphics, and other original content are owned by Benthos Holdings Inc or its licensors, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use. Article titles, brief excerpts, and links may be shared with attribution; anything beyond that requires our written permission. Medication and company names mentioned on the Site are trademarks of their respective owners, and their use here is for identification and commentary, not endorsement.
Third-party links
The Site links to third-party resources — including FDA pages, manufacturer sites, and provider directories — for your convenience. We don't control those sites, and we're not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. Linking to a third-party site isn't an endorsement of it.
Newsletter sign-up
The Site may present a popup, form, or newsletter section inviting you to leave your email (and optionally your phone number) to receive occasional updates. Submitting this information doesn't start treatment or create a patient relationship — see "What the Site is" and "Not medical advice" above. By submitting the form, you agree that we and our marketing partners may contact you as described in our Privacy Policy.
Advertising and affiliate relationships
The Site does not currently run advertising or affiliate partnerships. If that changes, paid placements will be labeled clearly as such and will never be presented as independent editorial recommendations. See our advertising disclosure for details, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information on it is complete, reliable, or current — medical and drug information changes, and we may not have caught up yet.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Benthos Holdings Inc and its officers, employees, and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site — including any decisions made based on Site content — even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Benthos Holdings Inc harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
Changes to the Site or these Terms
We may update the Site or these Terms at any time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we make material changes. Continuing to use the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, and any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Maryland.
