This Privacy Policy explains how Benthos Holdings Inc ("Benthos Holdings," "The GLP List," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit theglplist.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

The short version

We don't require an account, and we don't ask you for health information.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address to send it.
If you submit your name, email, and phone number through a popup or form on the Site, we and our marketing partners may contact you — including by call, text, or email — about products and offers. Agreeing to this is required to submit the form.
We use basic analytics to understand how the Site is used, and cookies to support that.
We don't sell your personal information, and we only share it with marketing partners if you've opted in.
You can ask us to access or delete your information at any time — see "Your rights" below.

Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

Information you give us directly. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. If you submit a popup or contact form on the Site, we collect your name, email address, and phone number. If you email us — for corrections, questions, or feedback — we collect whatever you include in that message, along with your email address.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we (and our analytics provider) automatically collect some technical information when you visit — things like your approximate location (derived from IP address), browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and general usage patterns. This helps us understand what content is useful and fix what isn't.
Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies or comparable local storage for analytics purposes — for example, to distinguish returning visitors from new ones and to measure how people move through the Site. We don't currently use cookies for behavioral advertising or cross-site ad tracking. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies; doing so may affect how some parts of the Site work, but the Site remains usable without them.

We don't collect health information

The Site is educational content — articles, guides, and comparisons. We don't have quizzes, symptom checkers, health forms, or any feature designed to collect information about your health, medications, or diagnoses, and we ask that you not send us that kind of information (including in emails). If you do, we'll treat it with the same care as any other message, but we're not built or staffed to handle protected health information, and the Site is not a substitute for a conversation with your doctor or pharmacist.

How we use information

To send the newsletter, if you've subscribed to it.
To respond to emails, corrections, and feedback.
To follow up with you, and to send or enable marketing communications about products and offers from The GLP List and our marketing partners, by phone, text, or email.
To understand how the Site is used, so we can improve it.
To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or security issues.
To comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

We don't sell your personal information. We share limited information with a small number of service providers who help us run the Site, including:

An email delivery provider, to send the newsletter to subscribers.
Hosting and infrastructure providers (currently Vercel), who process traffic to deliver the Site to you.
An analytics provider, to help us understand Site usage in aggregate.
Our database provider, to store form submissions.

Marketing partners. If you submit a popup or form on the Site, we share your name, email, and phone number with our marketing partners so that we and they can contact you — including by phone call, text message, or email, and including through automated dialing or messaging technology — about products and offers. Message and data rates may apply, and frequency varies. Agreeing to this is required to submit the form. You can withdraw this consent at any time by replying STOP to any text message, unsubscribing from any email, or emailing hello@benthosholdingsinc.com.

Aside from marketing partners (only when you've opted in) and the service providers listed above, we don't share your information with third parties for their own purposes. Those providers only receive what they need to perform their function, and are contractually restricted from using it for anything else. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of The GLP List, our users, or the public.

Data retention

We keep newsletter subscriber emails for as long as you remain subscribed, and delete or anonymize them within a reasonable period after you unsubscribe. We keep popup and form submissions for as long as reasonably useful for the purpose you submitted them, or until you ask us to delete them. We keep correspondence (like correction requests) for as long as reasonably useful for editorial and legal recordkeeping. Aggregate analytics data may be retained longer since it isn't used to identify individuals.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain uses of it. You can exercise any of these rights, or ask us a question about this policy, by emailing hello@benthosholdingsinc.com. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe. The simplest way to stop receiving the newsletter is the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Third-party links

The Site links to third-party resources — FDA pages, manufacturer sites, provider directories, and similar. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control. This policy only covers theglplist.com.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Site evolves — for example, if we add new analytics tools or features. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
